The Idea… Linda had been an avid tanner for over 20 years but for the first time had experienced something different. A new tanning salon had opened by her work and she visited it on her lunch hour. The cleanliness of the salon and upscale atmosphere was different than any other tanning salon she had been in. Then one morning Linda awoke with an idea... to open her own upscale tanning salon. Once she got the tanning salon idea, she couldn’t get it off her mind. “I thought about it seven days a week 24 hours a day. It was like a driving force. I knew I had to pursue it. And I knew the “upscale idea” was a nice marketing niche.”
Linda and Breanna scouted out salons throughout Colorado making notes of things they liked and disliked in each salon. They found salons with outdated equipment, bulbs that metered too low to even provided a tan, cracked acrylics, beds with missing knobs (one salon provided a pair of pliers), staff unable to answer basic tanning questions, and a lot of salons were dirty. With their list in hand Linda and Breanna vowed to “raise the bar” in their tanning salon.
After one year of research and planning, Paradise Tans, Inc. was born! A bright, white meticulously clean salon with that upscale atmosphere; private, comfortable rooms with solid doors and easy to clean wood floors (instead of carpet), new high quality equipment including wide-body entry level beds and high speed Turbo beds (clients favorite), plus friendly, knowledgeable staff dedicated to customer service!
